Alberico Mattei - Bio

Born in 1971 in Rome, where he still lives, in 1993 he attends and graduates at IFI (Italian Institute of Photography). Over the years, he has developed his own way which will lead him to get more and more interested in social themes, both in Italy and abroad, and to cooperate with NGOs and Catholic missions.

All his work is black-and-white analogue photography.

He exhibits some of his works at the 2nd (2012), 3rd (2013) and 4th (2014) edition of "The Darkroom Project" photo show in Puglia; in London in 2009 for an auction benefiting the NGO Emergency UK; in Rome in 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2014; in Calcata (VT) in 2002; in Allumiere (RM) in 2014 and in Stuttgart at the VHS Photogallerie in 2014.

Nato a Roma nel 1971, dove tutt'ora risiede, si diploma all'Istituto Fotografico Italiano nel 1993 e da allora segue un suo percorso personale che lo porta ad interressarsi sempre di più a tematiche sociali in Italia come all'estero, collaborando con Ong e missioni Cattoliche.

Tutta la sua produzione è in analogico bianco e nero.

Espone i suoi lavori dal 2012 al 2014 in Puglia per la rassegna "Darkroom Project"; nel 2009 a Londra a favore di Emergency UK; a Roma nel 2002, 2003, 2006 e 2014; a Calcata (VT) nel 2002; ad Allumiere (RM) nel 2014 e a Stoccarda presso la VHS Photogallerie nel 2014.
